How To Dominate SEO Results In 2019

Search Engine Optimisation in 2019

2018 was very calm for SEOs. But it doesn’t matter how peaceful it looks, you can never lean back in your chair and relax

Topics like voice Search, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence were at the top in past 12 months. While AI is most likely to hit Paid marketing, Voice search is going to disturb the SEO community in future. Unlike 2017 google became shy in 2018 and stopped updating about the algorithm launch and how it will affect the search result.

For any Software Development or Website Development Company SEO is must in-order to gain presence over internet.

SEOs detected about 5 Google algorithm updates in 2018 and all we know about them are various sorts of rumors and speculations. So, to help you get to grips with the uncertainty, I’ve prepared a list of recommendations SEOs should focus on right now.

Here is a list of recommendations you guys need to focus to dominate SEO in 2019.

Step 1: Be Searchable

This the basic rule of life – People won’t buy from you unless they can find you. Similar goes to search engines. They won’t rank you until they are able to find your website.

So this is really important to be available for search engines. Which means put a lot of content in there, so the search engine can find you quickly.

This is how you do it.

1. Logical website structure:

·        The important pages are reachable from the homepage.

·        Important pages are linked to your homepage.

·        Site pages are well arranged in a structure.

·        URLs should be easy enough for the search bot to understand.

·        Use breadcrumbs for effective navigation around the website.

·        Put a search box on your website to help visitors discover content.

2. Making the best use of XML sitemap:

An XML sitemap helps the search bots to discover the pages of the website not on discover but it also helps in indexing the content of your website. This is a very similar practice how someone on a world tour will find the place in a new city if they had a map.

As per Google “For getting indexing faster and more effectively we recommend you to upload XML sitemap. As this will give us the information about your website and content you have on it.”

Step 2: Learn How To Defeat KungFu Panda:

Panda is a filter that Google launched to fight all those websites which are with thin content on them are non-authentic and have
the low quality of content. In early 2016, Gary Illyes proudly announced that panda has now become a part of its core ranking algorithm. But it was not that simple because now you have no way of telling if your ranking changed due to Panda or any other factor.

1.      Improve the content quality:

If you are working on something and helping people with that you need to create useful, expert-level content to be presented in front of the world in the most engaging form possible.

You won’t want all of your website pages to look like Wikipedia articles as this will be a wasteful practice. Use a bit of common sense and make sure the basic image of your website is neat and decent.

Each webpage must have at least 500-600 words. But that doesn’t mean that you will post unnecessary things. Write only that stuff which will matter.

2.      Get Your Canonicalization Right:

Canonicalization is the best way to tell the search engine which page should be treated as the standardized version when multiple URL returns virtually to one single content.

The main reason why we need canonicalization is to avoid the internal content duplication on your website. Although this is not a big offense on search engine terms, this can surely make your website look messy. Like a big wild garden in comparison to a very neatly trimmed garden.

Step 3: It’s time you learn to combat Penguin

When Google launched Penguin, The major work of this algorithm was to detect those websites, who were violating the guidelines by making artificial backlinks or in the easy term “It was meant to hit those websites, which were filled with spammy backlinks in order to reach higher ranking in less time.

Penguin has now become one of core ranking algorithm and runs in real time. In the early time when it was launched penguin used to hit the entire website and penalize it but nowadays it only demotes the web pages of a website who has bad backlinks.

So make sure you go over quality instead of quantity. A single hard-earned backlink is much better than those 100 Spammy links.

Step4: Be AMP Ready

Accelerated Mobile Pages is one of the new initiatives by Google in order to build up better and user-friendly mobile web experience. Basically, this is a new set of rules which is intended to simplify and make a lighter version of HTML. Pages which are AMP optimized are meant to load up super quick on mobile devices, from where 70% of searches are done nowadays.

According to Google. AMP pages are 4x faster and use 10x less data as compared to non-AMP pages. An AMP competent page loads in less than one second. Publishers that are using AMP gets 90% higher CTR as everyone loves that website who loads super-fast.

AMP goes through a strict validate format and even if some element on your pages does not meet the requirement, Google is most likely to not validate those pages to users. So even you are confident with your AMP pages, Make sure you check if they pass the validation.

Step5: Earn social signals — the right way

Search Engine always favors that website who has a strong social presence. Your Google+ posts or tweets can also help you with your organic search sear results as well. Which is a great and direct opportunity to drive extra traffic which can be converted into customers. Although it’s not official that twitter or Facebook will affect your SEO but Google has already said that it treats social pages just like another webpage, So the hint is straight away clear.

Step 6: Update Your Local SEO Plan

Local SEO is all about the reviews, NAP, and basic local links. There is not much to add here. My research in 2017 proved my
points as well. It’s also important to stay engaged with your local listings and NAP’s. Google always want you to interact with your customers. Always remember to respond to your reviews and always keep your listing updated with your fresh photos, your business hours, etc. As they help your customers to know about you.

Make sure your website always mention your business name, address and phone numbers (NAP) and also make sure it’s consistent across the listings.

Always optimize your Google My Business Listing by providing correct NAP, Category, Photos and by responding to the reviews.

Always make sure you don’t forget your listings after they are created. Make backlinks for those listing by this you will get better link flow and even those spammy backlinks will work for you.
